The next Viselaya Sculpture Competition is planned for 2008.

Submission deadlines and exhibit dates have not yet been determined. If you send your email and postal address to us indicating that you are a sculptor, we will put you on the mailing list for future calls for submissions.

The Viselaya Sculpture Competition is a professionally juried international competition for figurative sculpture. The competition is open to any living artist. Winners are exhibited in a garden setting, and several top prizes awarded. Judging criteria include: vitality and sensitivity of expression; originality; beauty; success in portraying an important theme or concept; mastery of the medium; quality of composition; and excellence in anatomy, including structure, balance and movement of the figure(s).
